2018 Honda Odyssey Redesign Rumors
We’ve been waiting a long time for news about the Honda Odyssey. It is the only vehicle to yet have any information released about the 2017 model year. For a while, we thought that might be because Honda was going to spring a remodel on us last second, but that’s not the case. Instead, the Odyssey is just being carried over for 2017, and will enter its fifth generation for the 2018 model year. While redesign rumors have been circulating for the past couple of years, we can finally confirm an all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey, and it will be revealed at the 2017 North American International Auto Show.
When Honda confirmed that the next-generation Odyssey will be revealed at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 9th (at 10:00 a.m. to be precise), they let us in on a few things that will be changing. We know that the redesigned Odyssey will offer new technologies within its powertrain, a more sophisticated style than ever before, plus a host of innovative new features both inside and out.
Odyssey Team Kids’ Teaser Scribbles
The official teaser sketch of the Odyssey, as Honda is known to release when announcing new models, was accompanied by a few other renderings as well. In fact, Honda showcased four “teaser scribbles” designed by children of the Odyssey Development Team in Ohio. You can check them out below.
“We wanted to have a bit of fun by sharing some of the drawings from children of the Odyssey team members, since they were inspirational in shaping the family-friendly direction of the all-new Odyssey.”
– Chad Harrison, Chief Engineer, Honda R&D America
After the all-new Honda Odyssey is unveiled next week, we’ll get information to you as soon as we possibly can. So be sure to check beck on Monday.
